Beavers Beat Titans, 36-9
Corvallis, OR - Andre Gonzalez scored a pin at 125 pounds and Todd Noel won a 3-1 decision at 184 pounds but those were the only victories Cal State Fullerton could manage in a 36-9 Pac-10 dual wrestling match Sunday at Oregon State.
The Beavers won the other eight bouts, four by technical foul, to drop the Titans' record to 3-8, 0-5 going into the Pac-10 Championships in two weeks.
Gonzalez scored a quick takedown and pinned Christian Strahl only 55 seconds into their match. Noel scored a reversal out of the bottom position early in the third round to break a 1-1 tie with Brice Arand.
